1. There are so many like him - abusive, petty "rulers" who skate by because they don't sexually harass anyone. What they do is still harmful. It still ENDS careers. We lose so many voices to these emotional terrorists.

2. There are ALWAYS people involved with the show who they favor and treat well and promote. ALWAYS. Why? Because that's how abusers work. They cultivate and manipulate allies just as they do victims.

(I have been treated very well by a few who turned out to be abusive.)

3. Just a hearty fuck you to everyone who enables abusers knowing full well what they are doing to others. Seriously.

4. I know victims and have been a victim of this kind of abuse. The emotional terrorism. It sucks. It's driven so many away, and nearly drove me away too...

We have to stop rewarding mediocre (mostly white, mostly male) showrunners/producers/execs/anyone in power just because they, what? Get the work done on time and on budget? Get critical acclaim?

Enough.

These abusers' voices are not brilliant enough to sacrifice the voices of hundreds of their victims.

I'm angry. And I'm tired. And I'm grieving all the careers that got sacrificed to these cowardly, craven, self-anointed gods.
