We only have one opportunity to reopen our schools, so it is crucial that we do it right.

That requires first and foremost acknowledging that the coronavirus is real; that we don’t fully understand its capabilities or its limits, and engaging in meaningful debate surrounding the facts we do know today and avoiding hyperbole and fiction in our fact-finding.

I applaud the work of the task forces in both of our school districts as well as The work from the Governor’s task force that included P-CCS School Board President, @AnupaminMI and @SenPolehanki

The decisions they make are tough, and we know that your decision as a parent is even tougher. Please know that is there is no right or wrong answer, and we support all of our parents, whether they are sending their kids back or choosing virtual school.
