Alright, I'm going to live tweet my viewing of this. I'll be including time stamps from the video at

At about 2:30 Trump gets some random graph from his Press Secretary claiming the US has the lowest COVID mortality rate. It appears they edited part of that out, but we have no idea what Trump's sources is on that, AFAIK.
Oh, it looks like they're about to clarify. I paused and tweeted early. Listen, y'all, this is an important lesson in not jumping to conclusions, like I just did.
Short story, they used different data sets (Wallace used data from Johns Hopkins and the White House used data from the European CDC). Neither of those data sets show the US having the lowest mortality rate, and the European CDC set excluded a number of countries.
"I take responsiblity always for everything." A lie told by @realDonaldTrump
At about 4:20 Wallace points out testing is up about 37%, while cases are up 140%. Trump pretends it's a non-issue since a lot of younger people are getting it.
Trump claims that many of those cases shouldn't even be cases. Offers no justification for that bullshit statement.
At 6:00 Trump goes off on some racism.
At 7:00 Trump admits he doesn't know what the future of this pandemic will look like. He then goes off to say that everybody thought that it would go away in the summer. To be clear: HE thought that. Epidemiologists, on the other hand, said they didn't know it it would or not.
TRUMP was the one making claims without reservation. Yes, some epidemiologists suggested it MIGHT go away during the summer, like the flu, but I don't recall anyone saying it with the surety that Trump had.
At 7:50 Wallace asks why the WH is trying to discredit Dr. Fauci. Trump says, "We're not," then goes on to attempt to discredit Dr. Fauci.
Wallace points out that the White House itself put out a bunch of statements discreditng Fauci.
At about 9:40, when confronted about his claims that it will just disappear, Trump responds, "I'll be right, eventually." He's like a fucking fortune teller who just throws out a bunch of bullshit. Yeah, some of it might be right sometimes, but a lot of it is wrong.
At 10:40 Trump goes off on how the medical community changed its directive on wearing masks. He fails to recognize that change came about as a result of having more data and following the data.
At 11:20 Trump talks about how they're going to refuse to give federal funds to schools that aren't opening (I assume for in person instruction). Wallace responds with the point that most of that money goes to low income and special education students.
At 12:40, after being asked about Coronivrus protection bills (economic, liability protections, etc) Trump throws in support fo qualified immunity for police, a bullshit system by any metric.
Oh, what a segue. Time to talk about police brutality that Trump is going to pretend doesn't exist.
At about 14:20 Trump starts talking about Biden wanting to defund the police, stating that the joint statement between him and Sanders says "Defund teh Police". Trump asks his Press Sec to find it, so Wallace is doing a "meanwhile" to keep things going. We'll see what's next.
At about 14:50 Wallace is bringing up statistics about police deaths by race. Trump responds, "Many whites are killed," right after Wallaces pre-empted that lazy argument with per-capita stats.
Back to "Abolish the Police". Trump reads off a line about abolishing immigration detention centers. Wallace, "That's not abolishing the police." Trump deflects saying the statement is many pages long.
Fun Fact: The document (easy enough to do a nice Ctrl-F on, https://joebiden.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/UNITY-TASK-FORCE-RECOMMENDATIONS.pdf ) does not use the word "defund" once. Admittedly, it does talk about aboutsome of the defund the police talking points (like reappriating funds to more adapted services, like mental healthcare)
It says the word "police" about 29 times, none of which are as radical as the position many Trumpers think "Defund the police" means.
The word "abolish" appears in the document four times:
1&2 - Abolish the death penalty
3 - Abolish exploitative prison labor
4 - Abolish life without parole for juveniles

None of that includes abolishing the police (or even less radical, abolishing ICE)
At 16:12 "The White House never sent us evidence that the Bernie-Biden platform calls for defunding or abolishing the police... It calls for increased funding for police."
Oh boy, he just started talking about "Cancel Culture" saying we can't cancel our history and we can't forget the North and the South fought. Bruh, we don't need confederate flags flying at NASCAR events to remind us of that.
18:20, after being reminded that the military leadership is in favor of renaming bases named after Confederate leaders, "I don't care what the military says, I'm supposed to make the decision."
19:00 "We won two world wars, beautiful world wars." I don't think @realDonaldTrump knows what "beautiful" means.
Trump, on the 1619 project, "Where does that come from? What does it represent?" Wallace, "Slavery."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_1619_Project
I assume Trump brings that up because it's a New York Times project. Yeah, it's received some criticism, but Trump brought it up because he's upset that we're not singing the praises of Columbus anymore.
This is fascinating listening to Trump pretend to be bipartisan (about 21:05)
At about 22:00 Wallace shares new Fox News polling data with Trump. Trump makes the (erroneous) statement that the polls looked even worse for him in 2016 http://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/comparing-national-polls-in-2016-and-2020/
Trump follows up with vague statements about what appears to be internal polling data. I'm sure that the Trump campaign won't share any of that.
Trump: "Biden can't put two sentences together." Oh boy, do I have some news for you Mr. President. We've all seen you go off script and it's a fucking nightmare.
Alright. I'm not really doing anything meaningful in this thread, for the most part, so it's going to slow down. (Mostly just repeating what's happening in the interview). If I have meaningful commentary I'lll through it in.
