Anyone following the US primary election knows that we had our first presidential candidate of Hindu faith. She was mercilessly attacked with propaganda throughout the primary. One of the media moguls who used his empire to attack her was liberal billionaire Pierre Omidyar.
Omidyar owns or finances media outlets such as The Intercept, Honolulu Civil Beat & Scroll. I knew little about Omidyar except he was of Persian descent. Seeing endless propaganda out of the Islamic world against Tulsi due to her Hindu faith, I thought it was more of the same.
I especially thought this because his media outlets also run propaganda against Modi, India, Hindus, Hinduism. It fit the classic pattern I was seeing out of anyone catering to Islam in left media and government. I was wrong, it turns out there is so much more regarding Omidyar.
Digging deeper into Omidyar shows something far more nefarious. He's actually Buddhist. We all know names like Bezos & Soros, billionaires who try to use their wealth to influence global politics & economies. Omidyar is every bit as active if not more so but stays off the radar.
Omidyar funded The intercept & holds away from public view, the Snowden documents. He's every bit as active as people like George Soros in international media and propaganda, including countries like India.
Omidyar backs media outlets around the world. He supports a "global cartel" of fact-checkers who determine what's news & what's "fake" He's a key backer of International Consortium of Investigative Journalism, who holds the Panama Papers & decides what the public can & cannot see
Like Soros, Omidyar is another billionaire behind the scenes for Washington, but he has pumped so much money into the global media empires, the media remains silent about him. He's partnered closely with USAID and NED.
Going back to the Intercept, Omidyar not only kept the Snowden leak from public view, but he forged ties with the very same people involved with the NSA where Snowden worked. Omidyar forged ties "with the very same private military contractor that Snowden fought to expose"
"Omidyar’s political empire consists of a web of organizations overseen by its center of administration: the Omidyar Group" including Ulupono Initiative, Humanity United, Hopelab, Luminate, First Look Media, Democracy Fund
Of note for the global population of Hindus and India is Luminate. Luminate funds New Media Ventures, who funds EqualityLabs, a racists bigoted organization that attacks and spreads propaganda against Hindus and Hinduism.
Luminate is run by Ben Scott, a former Obama administration official who also served in Hillary Clinton’s state department. Omidyar has deep ties in the US government on the side of the Democrats, just like Soros.
Some of Omidyar’s other Investments in Indian Media & NGOs. Yes, he's involved in Indian politics through ADR (Association for Democratic Reforms) which also receives funding from Ford foundation. Ramachandra Guha, a writer at Caravan Magazine is involved with ADR.
And as I stated at above, Omidyar funds Scroll. Anyone paying attention to India media knows Scroll is an anti-Hindu publication.
In that list of Omidyar group organizations others to note are Humanity United, who among other things, has been used to fund the Guardian, the British liberal newspaper who has also been active spreading propaganda against India, Modi, Hindus and Hinduism.
These are just a few highlights from articles which I will link below. Pierre Omidyar I would say is far worse than Soros. Worse because he has such strong Democrat & media backing to they protect him & keep his involvement quiet.

@PMOIndia @narendramodi should be careful. He has Jayant Sinha in his cabinet, a former member of Omidyar’s five-member global executive committee and managing director for the Omidyar Network’s India branch. Omidyar's inside man in Modi's government who may work to undermine it
