The Irish state was created for the sole purpose of the preservation and propagation of the Irish people.

One of the major tactics is to downplay and minimise your history. To say that the Jews are owed Israel because of persecution but deny Ireland the same is to overlook:

1. Cromwell slaughtering 600,000 civilians.
2. The Ulster settlers expropriating land and ethnic cleansing NI

3. Authoritarian policing tactics. Even the contemporary British public was horrified by these actions.

4. Criminal economic and social mismanagement that exasperated the famine and emigration. Note the way they talk about other Brit colonies being underdeveloped but not us.

And that government mismanagement still exists. The current government does not take into account the needs and interests of the Irish people.

We’ve spent the last 30 years dumping all of our effort creating tax avoidance systems, but have not developed any domestic industry

The needs of American multinationals and international property investors comes before our needs. The needs to keep wages low and “grow the economy” via immigration trumps a 2-3x increase in homelessness.

Ireland is not a GDP figure, it’s not a proposition nation.
