Moon is associated with
Mothers/ emotions/right aide of brain
while
Pitru Paksha is associated with Fathers/ancestors/practical and strategic behaviour / left side of brain.
On this day both right side & left side of our brain r equally heightened in their performance.

This being Monday/ Somwar accentuates imp of the day.
Somwar is associated with Shiva & Moon.
Shiva who hs a Moon placed in his looks is also called Chandrashekhar.
Chandra means Moon, Shekhar means peak, or a heightened influence of Moon.
R u still with me?

Correction: Shiva’s locks* not looks.

Shekhar can also mean —to place something. So ChandraShekhar cn be interpreted as one who has moon placed on himself.
