Why do the majority of Uraraka dicourse boils down to either disregarding the impact "love" had on her character, or that the character is being completely engulfed by her "love interest" status.

Cuz from where I stand, her love is founded on the admiration for the story's core
That love leads her to further look into herself and reflect. To properly find the kinda drive that she didn't really manage to have before, because it is a path that was "natural" to her, making it tough for her to make sense of her drive now that she's in the thick of it.
Her interactions, with largely Deku, Iida, Bakugo, Pros and to lesser extent (relevance wise) her classmates.

Shaped the view she have towards the path that she chose out of essentially necessity due to her situation, into something she is truly growing to be passionate about.
Essentially, there's a "push and pull" nature to her character, between "pursue for her heroism" and "love for a person". Each time one is presented she progress further on the other as well.

She's a well constructed character and (as a bonus) love interest all things considered
