As of today, data shows there were actually thirteen confirmed deaths caused by COVID-19 on July 11.

2/ It takes time for @nycHealthy to receive reports and confirm each person who died had a positive test for COVID-19 or had COVID-19 listed as the cause of death on a death certificate. https://github.com/nychealth/coronavirus-data#reporting-on-covid-19-deaths
3/ We’ve found deaths for any given day take about *five days* to level out after they’re first reported.
