Just finished #IndianMatchmaking on @NetflixSA. This made me think of my grandparents who had an arranged marriage at 13 and 14. It allowed me to see so much more of my history. See characters profiles below
#NetflixWatchClub
Nadia: she was my favourite. Sweet, intelligent and genuinely looking for love. She reminded me of my cousin and someone I would definitely hangout with.
Aparna: no nonsense, knows what she wants and is difficult on all levels. I mean, girl couldn't see how going to the beach would be relaxing. I mean come on. Also, she has been a lawyer for 10 years and hates it.
Pradhyuman: thinks his God's gift. Not sure he wants to get married until he meets the model. Yeah, right. Forgettable.
Sima: she is the match-maker that really does try everything to see her clients get a match. Brutally honest, but has a charm to her. Uses very methods and contacts to find matches. This includes, star sign compatibility.
Akshay: mommy's boy like you have never seen before. Spoilt and not much of a personality, personally.
Ankita: my type of girl. Strong, independent, modern and a feminist. I would love to hang out with her. I love that through this process she found more love for herself.
Vyasar: a goof ball, with lots of personality and just a fun guy to be around. Not sure if marriage should be on his mind, but definitely the cool friend.
Rupam: A divorced, single-mom. She jas a beautiful smile, soul and heart.
Richa: She is such a vibe. Lover her voice, personality and how shocked Sima was hearing her criteria. Also, her brother and his new wife look AMAZING together.
