Seeing a lot of people mad at the inequity of rich ppl buying tutors for their kids until schools reopen.
Wait until you hear what they were doing *before* the pandemic.

Man, back then, these guys would buy access to whole *schools*! Often via housing purchases that they could eventually get back!
And the summer camps! And the gap years! And the specialized afterschool enrichment extracurriculars! And the at-home tech access! And! And! And!
Look, it *is* frustrating that the rich can just buy their way around some of the consequences that COVID is imposing on most of our schools and kids.
But it& #39;s not new. Not even a little bit. It& #39;s just an enhancement of the pre-pandemic opportunity gaps.

And if you& #39;re mad now, but weren& #39;t mad then...ask yourself: is that because you make enough that you were able to play some of those pre-pandemic privilege games? You bought a house for the good schools? You paid for the piano lessons, etc? ...
Basically: feel free to get mad at the inequities that also benefit your advanted kids also, ok?
