So the reason why I had to see this person was because another doctor was convinced that anxiety was at the root of my illness. (It& #39;s not. Anxiety is real and valid, but I don& #39;t have it.) So I had to stick it out because this psychologists& #39; conclusions would impact the rest 1/
...of my care. But MSP (the system in BC) only pays for a certain number of visits, so they have to "fix" you in just a few sessions. Apparently, it& #39;s a lot faster to get you to resign yourself to ableism than to love your fab disabled self in the face of omnipresent ableism. 2/
