I& #39;s still early and this hasn& #39;t been confirmed. It could be the wrong explanation. But -- it was definitely too early for news outlets and individuals to go with the "oh by the way a case related to Epstein was just assigned to this judge," dammit. https://abcnews.go.com/US/federal-judges-son-shot-killed-husband-injured-attack/story?id=71871708&cid=social_twitter_abcn">https://abcnews.go.com/US/federa...
/2 This would fit a pattern -- aggrieved litigant kills judge or family and then self. That& #39;s what happened to federal judge Daronco in 1998 and Judge Lefkow& #39;s family in 2005. Judge Roll was killed by a maniac with no comprehensible agenda.
/3 Aside from that, "sinister conspirators arrange attention-grabbing assassination of federal judge days after mundane shareholder derivative action hits her docket" is just stupidly incoherent. It makes absolutely no sense.
/4 Conspiracy theorizing normalizes conspiracy theorizing, on everything from QAnon to 5G to vaccines. It& #39;s not harmless. Stop.
/5 Also: check out the responses to the post linked above and note how completely impervious to facts and logic conspiracy theorizing is. THAT& #39;S WHAT YOU ARE NORMALIZING WITH THIS SHIT.
/6 Thanks to a tipster who pointed out this on the background of the lawyer who is reported -- not confirmed yet -- to be the killer. Sounds real stable, huh? https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20160824/11181635335/lawyer-sues-basically-all-mainstream-media-rico-violations-how-they-report-donald-trump.shtml?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+techdirt%2Ffeed+%28Techdirt%29">https://www.techdirt.com/articles/...
