my #Haikyuu memories ; a thread

(just releasing some feels)
my first time watching haikyuu was on tv. (sa YeY channel, filo moots xd) It was Tagalog-dubbed. The moment I laid my eyes on the screen was Kageyama Tobio, serving. I think it was between E3-5 of S1. I instantly knew that I was gonna fall for him. (1/n)
I hid the excitement of watching that episode from my brothers (they would tease me since i never was a sports person after all). When the tv was turned off, I immediately searched for the name 'kageyama haikyuu'. And from then on, I watched the episodes until season 2. (2/n)
I was lingering for more. So, I finally decided to read the manga. I actually was able to caught up on the middle part of the inarizaki arc when it was newly released. However, things got busy and school became hell af. (3/n)
I eventually stopped reading the manga :( and then s3 was released and i didnt watch it because i knew what will happen DKAJDSH damn i h8 my laziness xd the same happened with s4. (4/n)
And then I realized, it was the inarizaki arc where I stopped, and the anime was right at it too. I can't afford being behind the anime AKSJAKDD so after 1.5 years, this June and July, I rewatched the whole four seasons and finally, caught up to the manga, until the end. (5/n)
I was never a sports person, nor athletic to begin with. But after Haikyuu, sports, especially vball, became a different perspective to me. I now enjoyed watching the team plays, I became attentive on how they move and score, I now liked how the crowd cheers for both teams. (6/n)
Thank you, Furudate-sensei, for bringing Haikyuu into life. With each lesson equipped in every episode. For every character to develop growth within themselves and as a team. For creating rivalry into inspiration of becoming better. (7/n)
For showing that volleyball is fun, even to non-vball players.

Thank you for the 8 years, Haikyuu and Furudate Haruichi. I'll never regret being able to join this fandom, and witness the greatness of every team in Haikyuu.
