ok so fuck it. let's have a conversation.

and before I start, no I'm not taking shots at anyone. this is a conversation based off of things I've seen on the timeline recently.

I want to talk about lesbians and money when it comes to dating. especially when it comes to people dating masculine presenting women.

I've seen a lot of tweets in general, even more so recently, about not dating broke d*kes. about wanting to date a masc woman who can provide for you, themselves, and spoil you with luxury. if that's what you like, OKAY. but just some things on my mind....

there is a pay gap between men and women first of all. a lot of women aren't making bread like that. period. masculine or not. period. the data proves that. PERIOD.

on top of that, I have met a lot of masc. women who aren't able to find "good" jobs off the bat. who have been in situations where they're barely financially stable on their own. mix that with dating and I mean it's gotta be crushing to FEEL like you have to provide.

when women were never MEANT to be providers. these women want cis niggas' money because they make more money in GENERAL lmao and most of them be dumb so they'll spend the bread.

masc. women shouldn't be held up to the same financial standards as men at all. AT ALL. AT ALLLLL.

that's my TL;DR.

I'm not saying this to change anyone's mind or nothing like that. it's just interesting to see. that's all. that's all I have to say lmfao.

if you HAVE money and you want to ball out on the women you date then do it. if you're dating someone who likes that and you CAN do it then do it. I personally don't want it to be the STANDARD. does that make sense?

also note that this isn't just because of twitter. back when I was young and broke, I felt like I HAD to provide. like I HAD to take my girl on dates, had to pay for XYZ, had to do a lot of shit. but I was POOR lmfaooo. and that shit just made me sad.

but anyway, I'm done lol. if you know what I mean, cool. if you don't, also cool. I don't really feel like arguing lmfao.
