As a way to celebrate Chess today,the world governing body of chess @FIDE_chess ,is asking chess players to teach people who do not know how to play yet.
There& #39;s a general misconception about chess being a boring game reserved only for a few intellectuals.

To children,it is an incredible educational resource which gives them a template to gain relevant life and academic skills whilst still having fun.
Chess is also used to help cure Alzheimer& #39;s in old people as it keeps both sides of the brain active.

For me,Chess mirrors life and it has been a medium to transforming the lives of hundreds of children living in slum communities.

For someone that has never been outside Nigeria,i have chess playing friends in at least 28 countries of the world and I have made a lot of amazing friends too.
