I'm not surprised to see that all the commissioners of @HistoricEngland are white, but it's time for that to change. Despite exclusionary practices across the sector there are amazing people who could make a real difference https://historicengland.org.uk/about/who-we-are/commission/biographies-of-members/ @nomorewanels
And the same is true in Wales https://rcahmw.gov.uk/about-us/commissioners/commissioner-profiles/ @RCAHMWales Welsh heritage is more than white heritage @privilegecafe_
(It has to be said that the gender balance is better in Wales)
So @HistEnvScot has a board not commissioners and - you guessed it! All white https://www.historicenvironment.scot/about-us/who-we-are/our-board/board-members/
I can't find a list of members for the Historic Monuments Council in Northern Ireland. I would be delighted but amazed if they weren't all white
These are important roles, they influence heritage and culture across the four nations of the UK. It's a disgrace that they are all white
