Valencia CF 2019/20 player ratings

I'll go from good to bad.

Ezequiel Garay 7/10

Probably our most consistent and important player at the back...whole season went to shit when we didn't replace him after his injury. He already left but wish Lim and all the other bums upstairs would've valued his type of experience in our next season(s)

Gabriel Paulista 6.5/10

Would've been higher had he played the full season with Garay but the latter got injured so he had to play with bums at the back and lemme just say he isn't as good as the leading CB than Garay is but overall his season was decent. Would keep him 100%

Dani Parejo 6.5/10

Started off so well but with the occasional STINKER in a CL game and very inconsistent towards the end sadly. Wish he would stay but I just know the club is going to force him out :(

I know the bar for club legends is low but he's definitely 1 for us imo

Rodrigo Moreno 6.5/10

Probably our only creative outlet up top until Ferran started to play more, still stinks in front of goal and he and Maxi might be the worse duo I've ever seen. Would cash in on him while we still can but wouldn't mind if he stays.

Francis Coquelin 6/10

Both him and Parejo felt "boring" this year unlike last season. Did the job as usual but the whole fighting spirit in the squad was gone so there's nothing Coquelin could do more really. Would keep him but I don't see it happening.

Jose Luis Gaya 6/10

Since Marcelino's departure it's been a rollercoaster for him, from being the 5'7 Maldini to being exposed due to our shape defensively under Celades. Still captain material and a very gifted LB and I don't see him leaving us ever even with that bum Lim.

Ferran Torres 6/10

Same feelings when we saw Soler in that shit 16/17 season getting minutes and making us enjoy the little things.

Ferran, good down the right, extremely shit down the left while being inconsistent. Would keep him but idk what's going on with his renewal

Jaume Domenech and Jasper Cillessen 5.5/10

Just very meh tbh, Jasper would've been lower had he not been 1 of our better players post lockdown but it was all too late anyway.

Those 9 players were the only ones above 5.5

Kevin Gameiro 5/10

Just seems past it, lacks the pace which used to be his best attribute lmao but overall seeing the circumstances he wasn't THAT bad. Probably still Rodrigo's best partner up front. Would sell him just like Jasper for any decent fee.

Kondogbia 5/10

Injuries, mixing stinkers with good matches but nothing in between lmao I know the good version of him is still there and somewhere but mans over it. Would sell him at a decent offer if not keep him.

Maxi Gomez 5/10

Decent numbers all things considered but we've seen this with Negredo and it's happening again...no way we signed someone just as bad with finishing off chances as Rodrigo. Expect him to be a lot better next season if we manage to have a healthy environment(lmao)

Daniel Wass 3.5/10

Can play on 8/10, LM, RM and for the most part at RB and he's been extremely mediocre for the most of it. Honestly dont know what to do with him anymore

Jaume Costa 3/10

Yeah just very MID at best, idk if Gaya raised the bar that high or something but every right winger with 0 goals and 0 assist was looking like Robben against this bum

Florenzi 3/10

Thanks for hitting our crosses with your volleys but my brother you STINK. Italian Wass, luckily on a dry loan just like Jaume Costa

Cheryshev 2/10

Just another regular relegation side player once off the steroids. Just cross the ball and go man please....

Guedes 2/10

Replace Cheryshev's crossing with 99 shot power and you'd basically have Guedes' 19/20 season summed up. Honestly would sell him as long as the offer is somewhat acceptable considering we paid 40m for him but yeh...

Carlos Soler 1.5/10

Played like 40 games at LM/RM/CM and for the life of me I do not remember him creating 1 chance. Finished the season with 0 assists

Despite all that I would keep him but my goodness he stinks

Eliaquim Mangala 1/10

I'm sorry man....idk what happened with those knees of him but my guy was moving like a truck ffs. He's only 29 as well....

Mouctar Diakhaby, Lmao/10

Just when you think he's showing off some potential here and there you got him losing air duels against 5'9 attackers while jumping at every cross as if we're stranded on a island and wave towards a helicopter flying by. Please play a different sport

Kangin 5/10 very inconsistent but needs more regular time to improve

Hugo G. 6/10 not easy jump in to play CB while we as a whole were garbage defensively but he did well. Just renewed too
