my PC building progress thread! 
ok so, i’ve officially set my goal completion date!! im hoping on actually having my parts and building by early february 2021 (6-ish months from now). hopefully the holidays will be good to me and new parts releasing will drive the price down for others 
i have a google doc started detailing things like my budget, each part i need + what they do, notes and tips for first time builders, and finally links to helpful youtube videos and websites
i also have links to (albeit outdated-ish) guides on r/buildapc— as the basics are still relevant even if the parts listed in a decade old post aren’t. i’ve made an account on pc part picker as well. just going to slowly compile parts before ordering them
i’ll share my build once i actually start it. i’m sure it’ll change as the months go by and i consult friends and the internet on it. im 100% new to this and am learning as i go so please be kind as i continue to update this thread
