J Cole.

A Top Ten List, ranking his features. Based on mood, lyrical dexterity and how hard he washed other artists on the same song.
10.

Zendaya.

A track that is largely slept on, Cole produces a georgous best and performs vocals. His verse is about giving advice to his dreamville protégée, Cozz.
9.

A lot.

If there& #39;s one place you never expected J Cole, it& #39;s a 21 savage song. These two mold well together on this track and actually have genuine chemistry. J Cole calls out the industry and the rappers who aren& #39;t much more than "memes".
8.

Trippy.

J Cole and Anderson .Paak join forces for what is a beautiful track. J Cole raps about a girl he& #39;s no longer in touch with and how he is trying to find her.
7.

Come Through And Chill.

J Cole and Miguel is a proven formula. J Cole has two verse here, the first apologising to a girl and trying to get her back. The second Cole verse comes after some beautiful Miguel vocals and has some of J Cole& #39;s best socially conscious bars yet.
6.

Off Deez.

Both JID and J Cole bring their A-game here. JIDs verse seems impossible to keep up with during first listen but J Cole pulls it out the bag. This somg would be higher on the list if JID wasn& #39;t so great at what he does.
5.

Boblo Boat.

Royce Da 5& #39;9 invites J Cole to rap about nostalgia on this track. Both rappers have interesting childhood stories but Cole& #39;s has a much smoother vibe to it. The opening bars of Cole& #39;s verse really show this.
4.

Pretty Little Fears.

6lack hosts a moody love song for J Cole to poetically spit over. J Cole& #39;s low tone fits this track perfectly and his romantic lyrics make the listener really feel something.
3.

My Boy.

Wale has J Cole wash him on this track. J Cole& #39;s verse is a hot headed brag-rap where every bar hits. These hard bars match his glow which switches up from fire flow to fire flow.
2.

Knock Tha Hustle - Remix.

Both Cole verses are amazing. Cozz is nice but J Cole shows that there are levels to the rap game. Just listen to this song.
1.

American Dream.

On a song with Kendrick, hosted by Jeezy, J Cole is in company of legends. However, Cole makes anyone else rapping look pitiful as his rhyme scheme and substance is unmatched on this song. This song showed that J Cole can hold his own next to anyone.
