In light of what's been seen on ' #F1 Twitter' over the weekend, it's worth remembering that comments made on Twitter can leave yourself open to legal proceedings in the absence of court findings. The best intent in the world doesn't change that.
And please don't misconstrue this as me not being supportive of those who have come forward. But unproven (at a legal level) vigilante mob judgement by social media is very damaging to any potential court hearing. And those accused can very easily seek legal recompense.
I've seen publications, journos and accounts outright naming an individual as having done something illegal.

There is a presumption of innocence in law, before judgement. Publishing this 'fact' (and a tweet is a publishing) means the individual named can go after you.
