My father died yesterday because of negligence from the doctors of JVC Srinagar, he was COVID19 positive. Imagine the plight of my late father that the patient next to his bed called me and said your father has to urinate and no one is taking him. 1/n

They don’t allow the attendants inside, a heated quarrel between the ground staff and me prompted them to call the on duty doctor who further told me that they’re taking my father to washroom. He was on high flow oxygen with a declining SP02 level 2/n

I will do a full expose of all of this negligence on the part of doctors and the complete apathy they show towards patients. Also the attitude of on duty doctor was reckless, I told him my father’s oxygen saturation is declining to which his reply was

They most probably took his oxygen off in order to take him to washroom that resulted in the further fall of SP02 levels and he died of hypoxia on his way to washroom. How can they take the patient off the oxygen? 3/n

We tried beating our chest to make them understand that he is severe hypertensive patient but they never listened to us. After his death they came and asked me “what was wrong with your father? Was he Hypertensive? Was he Diabetic?”

“Toh mei kya karu, ye manzoor sahab ne mujhe phone kiya warna mei thode he baat karta tumse”. The name of the on duty doctor was Dr Ilyas. I will file criminal proceedings against all of this.
