I’m really confused ‘cause it says that a Duke had an illegitimate child with the gardener’s daughter (this Duke was married with 2 kids) and his wife makes this illegitimate kid run away and live alone in an old castle. Okay.

But then this kid is the one who falls in love with that girl stealing his flowers? Just like the Duke? His Dad? And she also di*s later? The same story, different man?

Am I reading it right? ‘Cause English is not my mother tongue and I’m not sure if I’m getting this right

So this could be true? They’re condemmed to repeat the same story? Father, son...etc?
