I want to take a look at some of the areas where DDG gets criticism & see how Dean compares in those exact areas.

This isn't an attempt at 'slating' DDG therefore I won't be adding my opinion just presenting the stats as they are for you to judge.

DDG is often criticised for his handling of crosses. Let's take a look:

Keep in mind Utd play out from the back while SHU don't.

Another concern is his command in aerial duels

DDG: 0.2 (19th best)
Dean: 0.5 (5th best)

Both of them maintain a 100% duel success rate among the 9 in the league to do so.

#MUFC & #SHU play different styles of football as is evident from this 1 stat:

DDG: 31m (shortest in the league)
Dean: 69.5m (longest in the league)

This style difference should explain some of the more ambiguous stats.
