Let's all wish a happy 82nd birthday to #MNTwins legend Tony Oliva, born in Pinar del Río, Cuba in 1938.

He is one of six players in major league history to lead their league in hits five times (Cobb, Musial, Rose, Gwynn, and Ichiro).

What's your favorite memory of Tony-O?
When I was elementary age, a friend and I were out in the otherwise empty concourse at the Metrodome and he walked past us. I just froze with my jaw on the floor. We got back to our seats and I basically freaked out to my grandpa: "we just saw Tony Oliva! We just saw Tony Oliva!"
