I'm rapidly losing my temper with the media. Primary response antibodies are a pisspoor mesure of immunity and the presense of antigen specific T cells are quite literally the entire basis of the adaptive immune response. https://twitter.com/PerthshireMags/status/1285159413511262208
It's not unsual to "lose" antibodies months after infections, or have the number of antibodies in the blood drop.

Because the concentration of antibodies produced by secondary responses are 100x-1000x fold higher in a fraction of the time (<24 hours).
The ENTIRE basis of immunity is the creation of long lived memory T and B cells that live in lymph nodes and the spleen, or reside in muscoal membranes so you have a fast, swift, overwhelming, antibody and cell mediated response to a second infection.
Like doing piss poor science articles where you present the senario that memory T and B cells protect like its a BRAND NEW INCREDIBLE FUCKING THING WE ARE SEEING FOR THE FIRST TIME isn't helping anyone.
