I'll admit to being that anon. Posted it anonymously on a board since I wasn't sure how to do it- if something five years old is even worth making a big deal of at this point.
It was a spur of the moment thing that was inspired by a feelthread one anon made: Nilaya's story. This was likely fabricated by the OP, but it touched me. Made me reach out.

I won't sit by while innocent users get hurt like I did.
After the incident happened, I stayed off DA for the most part, afraid that I would get harassed again.
