Thread: The Mighty Narayan Astra of Mahabharat

In this thread first we will see what is Narayan Astra and what is possible science behind it ?

in Mahabharat Narayan astra Scene was a better version than 300 scene where Thousands of arrows fulfills the space. We will explain this later , first let us see the episode of Narayan Astra in Mahabharat

When DrishtDhyumna son of Drupad cuts the head of Dronacharya , Ashwatthama ( Son of drona ) becomes angry hearing this sad news , he took the vow to kill DristDhyumna , and to use the Mighty Narayan Astra.
He thinks no one knows about this Astra but he was wrong.

The next day , in the battlefield Ashwatthama invokes the mighty Narayan Astra , This weapon was a quantum weapon which cannot be explained with modern science , it was beyond that. Let us see what happened next ?

After invoking Narayan Astra , Suddenly thousands of arrows appeared in the sky , with their ignited forefront part, and these approached towards Pandav Sena like a hissing snake with high speed

Now comes the best , part when Narayan Astra was launched , 1000s of arrows approached Pandav Army , Maharshi Vyas explained this scene very beautifully that it feels better than the 300 movie scene. How ?
It is explained by Vyas ji in Mahabharat , let me explain it.

Vyas Explains: Those arrows fulfilled the whole space like the sun-rays fulfills the sky in just seconds.

Similarly 1000s of illuminated arrows fulfilled the sky , coming out of Narayan Astra , looks like the SUN itself appeared to destroy the army of pandavas with its Rays.

Not only arrows but many other weapons like , Chakras , Gada appears and approached pandav army.
It looks like many sun like Chakras coming out the SUN(Narayan Astra).

It was such a weapon that if countered , it becomes more intensified , it cannot be countered at all. The only way to stop it , to surrender in front of it. Even if you counter with an aggression in your Mind , it detects the violent thought of enemy and becomes more intensified.

One has to calm his mind and do Namaste , to counter this astra. Only then it can be stopped. Even if you go anywhere on earth with an aggression towards Narayan Astra it will follow you and kill you.

Actually the arrows , chakras , gadas appearing in the sky must have some different meaning , the arrows were like laser beams.

Shreekrishna Already knew how to stop it , so he instructed the whole army to stop attacking narayan astra , sacrifice their weapons and just welcome this astra with a NAMASTE. By doing this , the astra effect started minimizing, it became cool down.

But Bhima was not ready to do all this , he continuously started attacking on it , because of that a powerful energy coming out of narayan astra concentrated on BHIMA , it falls on bhima's head.
Immediately krishna and arjun saved Bhima and told him to sacrifice his weapons.

Bhim accepted krishna's request and he sacrifice his weapons , Now everyone in pandav army sacrifice their weapons and say Namaste to narayan astra , with this the narayan astra cools down.

Because of Namaste the state of mind becomes calm down , and narayan astra detects no any subtle waves of violence from the enemy , hence the astra calms down.

Another specification of this astra was: it can only be used one time. Once it is used it cannot be used again by the same warrior. hence ashwatthama was unable to use it again. If the warrior use it again it kills the warrior himself instead of attacking enemy.

But how it actually works ?
there are main 3 specification with need explanation.
1. How 1000s of arrows and weapons appear in sky ?
2. How it works by sensing the emotions ?
3. How it kills the user himself if he use it again ?

1. It somehow creates laser beams in the sky by Some means. It's very hard to explain , 1 idea i can explain: The agni tatva is present everywhere in the sky , it somehow activates the agni in the space itself.

2. It is clear that this astra detects the thoughts of our mind.
It is true that there exist subtle waves of thoughts too with positive and negative type nature. Modern science won't accept this right now.
like + for love thoughts
and - for hateful, violent thoughts

When you say namaste , you produce calm waves , when you have thoughts of fight your state of mind produces negative waves.
Narayan Astra behaves according to the nature that enemy show.
If enemy want fight , astra become aggressive
If enemy say namaste , astra cools down

3. It detects the unique wave pattern of user like thumb impression.
we know every person thumb impression differs and is very unique in the whole world , similarly true for tongue impression too.
The voice pattern of every person is very unique , from each other. Similarly +

The wave pattern of thoughts must be unique for every person. hence the astra can detect the unique though wave pattern of user , like a thumb impression , So if the user invoke this astra again , the narayan astra can detect the same pattern and it will kill the user himself

There must be some programming in it , through which it decides what it has to do.
This astra is completely works on the science of Manastatva.
I have just tried to present an idea , it may not be true but i have presented what may be scientifically possible.

Some people thinks this astra was like a robotic weapons , on which cameras were attached , and through camera it detects the people attacking on it, hence it become more intensified. But i am not agree with this explanation.

because there is only one way to cools it down , is to sacrifice the weapons and calm down .
If it used cameras , it can easily be countered by attacking the cameras itself. It is also clear it detects the thoughts hence the camera concept wont work.

So finally it was very highly advance weapon , we couldn't completely find how it could have work ?
