Whatever character you have today, there's someone in the Bible that had the same character.

It'll be in your best interest to check and find out how the person ended up.

If it was good, continue in that character, if it wasn't then adjust your character.

Let me tell you...
...the story of a great King in the Bible and how he's being represented in our generation today.

Once there was a King that was very sick that he almost died. In fact the Prophet gave him a word from God that he was going to die.

But he prayed fervently before God and he got..
...healed.

Before long, another King sent a delegation to visit him when he heard he was sick. They came with presents (take note).

Now, this King that had been healed by God took the opportunity to show off his wealth. He showed off his material wealth to the visitors.
He felt pressured by their gift to also show off what he's got without acknowledging that God had healed him.

God sent the same Prophet to bring him a word of how he was going to lose the very things he was showing off & it happened.

This is the story of Hezekiah in Isaiah 39.
In our generation today, many feel pressured to show off what they also have. Their cars, houses, cloths, Birkin bag, PS5, money, skin tone & to a very funny extent their body enhancement & shape.

Really!? Is that what matters? Who's to be impressed? What point are you proving?
A lot of times, the people you seek to impress don't even care. The King showed off to people who were to take over all that wealth. How unwise that was.

Jesus said, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mark 8:36
Isaiah 40:4 says, "every mountain and hill shall be made low".

Don't exalt yourself as a mountain because "God resisteth the proud" James 4:6.

Dear brethren, it's imperative to understand that everything on earth is vanity and thus it's worthless showing them off.
Show off your souls won into the Kingdom. Show off the power of God's word and Spirit. Show off the glory of God. Show off that which glorifies God and not what makes you look good in the eyes of others.

Let him that have ears hear this.

Have a productive week! God bless you!
