I think I have talent in studying English, why?
tbh, I was forced to learn English by my dad since I was a little boy. At that time, my dad was also young, so he did not know how to teach me. The way he taught me was punished, punished and punished. https://twitter.com/LancelotWang6/status/1285108894117707776
Don't worry, I have a good relation with him now, he is the most important man in my life, my true teacher, and he gradually knows how to communicate with me, respect my opinions since I was 12.
But unfortunately,it was a little bit too late because I never enjoy studying English anymore.
Interesting Paradox, hmm?
I love speaking English and communicating, but I extremely hate studying English.
Since I was 11,I gave up English, and studying English was merely test-oriented
My English level stucks since I was 11, and two days later, I would be 20 years old.
Except that I had to accumulate a little vocabulary due to the lessons of my 6-year middle school, now my English level is almost the same as how I was in my 11...
Comparing to other TOP Chinese students,my English is not good but not bad.
But I think I,forever, lost the chance to turn English into my second language.
And till now,I never do well in grammer and article writing.Of course, I have no care of my English test score,
That's boring
The lesson is that:
1st: You should gradually understand your potential of your children, not everyone is the talent one, and not every talent one wants to be extremly outstanding.
2nd: Children love playing, and hobbies of studying should be grown from games and hapiness.
3rd: There are many things, that children are unable to understand, why study is necessary should be conveyed to him/her gradually. Don't urge to do so.
4th: Encouragement is always more important than scoll and punishment.
