On July 19th, 2020 my friend @ayoitsli was unlawfully arrested by Tallahassee Police Department.

She was arrested on alleged probable cause of battery.

However, once she was arrested Tallahassee PD added on 2 other charges which have been listed above.

So to give you’ll a little background on exactly what happened. @ayoitsli lives with two roommates of different ethinicities one being white, and the other Hispanic. Throughout her time living with them she has been verbally assaulted, and called out of her name several times.

They call her niggers, bitches, and animals. They tell that she acts like an animal and they want her out of their house. the girls in the house tend to do things like cut off the breaker in the house, cut of the ac in her room,

antagonizing her, they also did this while her other friend “to be named” was present.

These things have been going on since December. Due to the racial and constant hostility in the apartment @ayoitsli has feared for her life in wake of recent events happening around the world.

She lives in Stadium Enclave located in Tallahassee, Florida. Stadium Enclave has neglected to protect their residents as she dates emails of complaints going back to 11/19/2019.

After several months of complaints Stadium Enclave has finally decided to allow @ayoitsli to move out of the apartment soon. Due to tensions constantly rising in the house @ayoitsli asked if she could move out yesterday to avoid any physical harm being done to her.

Today as her friend “to be named” sat in her room quietly, Lara Oliveria of TCC proceeds to bang on Li’s door and scream “next time you throw something out make sure it’s yours bitch” “you live and act like a fucking animal”

The friend, then proceeds to let @ayoitsli know about the hostile situation in the house rather than responding to Lara. Because she didn’t know what she was talking about.

@ayoitsli was at work and had just gotten off when she received a phonecall about her roommates harassing her friend, thinking it was Li in the room.

When Li gets home she approaches Lara and asks “what happened?” She proceed to yell and scream at Li, over her bag of chips that was trashed accidentally. Li doesn’t know what she is talking about, but tells her it is completely inappropriate to talk to her friend like that.

Lara Oliveria (TCC) and McKenzie Meegan (TCC) shouted racial slurs and backed Li into a corner as they got into a heated arguement about the chips and other household issues.

Out of fear for her life, allegedly Li moves them out of the way by shoving Lara, because she was being cornered. The girls then continue to argue and allegedly a physical altercation begins. Mackenzie then claims that she was recording the whole incident on Lara’s phone.

She was the last one seen with Lara’s phone, but told officers that Li took the phone from her. What doesn’t add is that how Li can take the phone if she is in a physical altercation with Lara at the moment? Hm fishy.

Mackenzie then tells police that she saw Li throw Lara‘s phone off the balcony but Li says she didn’t go outside until the police officers arrived.

Once they were separated Lara told police that she was attacked and Li allegedly stole her phone. Although police asked Li, had she seen it and

she assured she had not seen the phone since Mackenzie had it. Lara then charged the friend and snatched Li’s property out of her hand, the friend then snatched it back.

After taking all witness statements, 2 vs 2, TPD decides to place @ayoitsli under arrest. They did not tell her what she was being arrested for, she later found out in the holding cell. Lara was not arrested but able to enjoy the rest of her day. While Li sat on a jail off—-

of an allegation. I’m no lawyer, but In this situation unless there was physical proof of a crime it was literally her word against Li’s and either both of them should have been arrested or neither or them.

I fear that Li is about to be railroaded through an unjust system that does not work to serve black people. Because why wasn’t anyone else arrested if there was also no proof?? Just word of mouth.

Lara was going around the neighborhood bragging to the workers and neighbors that she was going to get her arrested for robbery. Therefore, how is that credible?

Please help us get justice for @ayoitsli and also please give any legal advice that you can. Below I will drop evidence to back up my claims above.

Everything here is an alleged account of what happened according to witness statements. Please point us in the direction of a lawyer they shouldn’t be able to get away with this.

And TPD was dead wrong from arresting her, what can be done about that?
