HUGE and tense crowd out here in Portland. Officers are behind the fence in front of the courthouse. One officer keeps repeating something on the loudspeaker, but I can’t make out what he’s saying:

The officers are warning people not to try to mess with the fence, I’m pretty sure.

Tons of moms out tonight in Portland — they’re the front line of defense and are wearing yellow. Reports I saw suggest around 100

Officers have added extra protection to the fence tonight after protesters pretty easily dismantled it Saturday:

Here’s what the loudspeaker is repeating to the protesters. It’s coming from the Federal Protective Services (a division of the DHS):

Someone was kicking the fence and officers deployed what seems to be a sort of flash bang (on their side of the fence) .... the crowd started to curse at them afterwards

Bikers have blocked off a street and are revving their engines

Officers just came out and started pelting everyone. They’ve since retreated back into the building and the crowd is VERY angry.

Now actively trying to break down the fence:

BREAKING: Officers come out and deploy tear gas, pellet (?) bullets, flash bangs etc to disperse the crowd after more fencing is broken down and rioters enter the courthouse in Portland:

The crowd retreats when officers make moves, but then try to return.

“Stay together, stay tight. We do this every night,” they’re chanting.
