so here& #39;s something: if you personally believe someone is, or multiple people are, experiencing a delusion, why would you joke about it? why is that funny to you?
it does not bring them out of it. you, as a stranger to those people, cannot stop them from experiencing delusions.

as someone who& #39;s had delusions, i can tell you no amount of being told they were delusions by posts from strangers on the internet helped me come out of them.
in fact, they only fueled those delusions.

and regardless, not all delusions are actively harmful to the people having them. mine were, but that& #39;s not universal.
it& #39;s not your duty to try to help people you don& #39;t know with delusions, whether they do need help or not, and it& #39;s certainly not your place to make jokes about them. mind your own damn business.
yes, this is about the moon thing. i unknowingly saw some people on my feed joking about it, including a content creator whose work i enjoy and admire, and it& #39;s very disappointing.
disclaimer: while i have had delusions, i don& #39;t have much experience with talking about them, and i& #39;m not too well versed in discussion about them. if this is off the mark, let me know.
i apologize for framing witchcraft and similar practices and beliefs as an inherent delusion in this thread. that wasn& #39;t my intent, this thread was more about confronting those who believe it& #39;s a delusion on why they choose to treat people with delusions like this
but i should& #39;ve pointed out that beliefs need to be respected and not immediately viewed as delusions. i need to be more careful and thoughtful about how i approach topics like this
