disclaimer: these tips have helped me and several friends of mine in finding their confidence and combatting dysphoria.
if it’s not your cup of tea, that’s ok !! always wear what makes YOU feel happy regardless of gender identity. always the most important thing.

look #1: starting off super simple !! y’all know i love crop tops.
this is bc i want to elongate my lower half while also minimizing my torso for a more feminine silhouette. my high waisted crochet shorts + knee high socks do just that while also making my butt look bigger~

look #2: love these slightly baggy, high waisted jeans. the cinched paper bag waist + tight mesh tee work together to again create a curvier looking shape.
we all know black is universally slimming but don’t be afraid to also add in a pop of color to help guide your focus~

look #3: what i love about this cami dress aside from the cute pattern is the tied front. as my bust grows during my transition, this dress will flatter and adjust with me.
the cinched high waistline + flowy hem again shortens my torso, elongates my legs and gives me shape~

look #4: this button front denim dress has a perf high waistline.
the delicate v-neck hugs my bust, while the flowy skirt once again elongates but also covers my legs, which is convenient in case i don’t feel like shaving for a few days lmao~

look #5: another crop top + high waisted short combo !!
i love this racer top style bc it draws the eye inward up to my neck, making my upper half feel less broad. the pompom trim patterned short also has nice body to it and again flatters for a more feminine silhouette~

look #6: one of my faves !! a super flirty, summery look.
the cinched raglan crop top really accentuates my bust, and the denim overalls are super fem and hug my curves in the right places. i usually leave one strap down to avoid creating a fussy, restricting upper half~

look #7: this retro tee is actually old af. keep some of your boy clothes !! here i pair it with a high waisted skinny jean + drawstring belt for just the right shape.
i love an oversize boyfriend sweater over my tighter outfits bc it makes me look smaller by comparison~

again these are all my personal style. take it with a grain of salt but i truly believe there are universal learnings here, and that any of the above looks will flatter just about any body type with few exceptions.
i also wanted to briefly touch on some shopping tips below~
i also wanted to briefly touch on some shopping tips below~

i know first hand that shopping in the women’s section for the first time can be extremely daunting and fill you with insecurities around other shoppers.
start small. a good mental exercise is to just walk around the women’s/beauty section without actually buying anything.

familiarize yourself. slowly build your confidence. gain some excitement with all of the new possibilities that await you !!
when you feel ready to shop, bring a close lady friend with you to help you feel less like the center of attention and get some constructive 2nd opinions.

of course there’s also online shopping which gives full privacy and what i’ve always preferred just bc i’m lazy lol.
these days there are sooo many sites that help you find your right size with little quizzes. almost everything i own is from @ASOS !! i swear by them.

asos has SUCH an eclectic range of cute shit for just about any size—tall, plus, petit etc. they also have so many androgynous looks available.
i literally shopped with them as i slowly but seamlessly made the transition from buying more boy clothes to all girl clothes.

fuck overly gendered clothing styles anyway lmao no matter how you identify or like to style yourself, i guarantee you’ll find something you’ll love from asos.
swear this isn’t a plug lmao i’m just a big fan.
if you wanna know where i got anything in particular, just ask !!

aside from asos, i shop a lot from zara, h&m and zaful.
i buy most of my tight, concealing thongs/panties from amazon.
i also buy all of my bras from @barenecessities - they have a very wide and comprehensive range of styles and sizes, perf for accommodations trans girls~
