First day cutting out gluten, processed sugar, dairy and meat - basically all edible forms of joy.

The internet did its thing and sent me videos of cheesy chicken tacos, pasta drowned in bechamel and gooey chocolate cake.
Day 2 of this self-inflicted torture. Gluten is everything and I miss it so much.

Voluntarily watched a video featuring a recipe for spaghetti pie #selfsabotage
Day 3: walked past a shawarma truck and wasn’t tempted by the aroma

Also, sugar withdrawal symptoms are very real
Actually enjoyed my oatmeal dinner so I don’t even know who I am anymore
I don’t want to eat anything but I feel so sad. Sugar always uplifted my mood, albeit for a short time.

Day 4: left with only a hint of a headache, which is an enormous improvement.

Also food had become unnecessarily stressful. I feel calmer now.
The headache is back full swing and I’m feeling kind of jittery.

Thought of the day: baby carrots don’t taste as cute as they look
Also as restrictive as this diet is, I don’t find it anywhere as miserable as I did keto.

I’m truly in awe of those who can stick to it and get amazing results but it was not for me.

Day 5: I’ve noticed a pattern - I can power through the day but begin to crave random foods at night (lots of carbs)
