(3/10) First of all, this is UNSOURCED! I’ve seen claims of a reddit thread where the reddit poster chose to keep the witches in question anonymous for their protection, but a quick google search shows no such thread, except for possibly this removed one https://www.reddit.com/r/pagan/comments/htqinw/moon_hex/

(4/10) In addition, the other ‘source’ is a Skype message- with screenshots of discord conversation- that includes a link to a series of tiktoks that are talking about it. Basically, a bunch of hearsay https://twitter.com/heyyadoraa/status/1284737468064047104?s=21

(5/10) And, in those screenshots, the person even says they “don’t have... Sources”. Plus, I watched the series of tiktoks. It doesn’t prove anything, it’s just an account on TikTok talking about what they heard.

(6/10) Additionally, baby witches frankly don’t hold this kind of power, or we would be seeing these sort of catastrophic events way more often. Stupid people do stupid things.

(7/10) Baby witches are always going to try dumb things. I mean, I did dumb things when I was a baby witch & it didn’t upset the gods & the fae.

(8/10) Whatever is going on with the moon & the gods, if the reports are accurate, cannot be attributed to this rogue bunch of unnamed, unsourced newbie witches.

(9/10) I’m not trying to disrespect anyone who believes this, but I’m trying to do rumor control, and I encourage you to search for the true source of what’s disturbing the moon & gods, and not spread fear without reason.

(10/10) TLDR: this has no sources, so it might not have even happened in the first place. Plus, if it did, it’s likely not what’s wrong with the moon & her deities or the fae. They’re too powerful for that.

This is going to be a bit blunt, which is why I’m not labeling it part of the thread, but you all are making the witch community look a little ridiculous. You’re causing so much commotion over a claim that is not currently validated or based in reason.

I’m sure OP had the best intentions creating the thread, but I think it does more harm than good.
