Why Meruem vs Netero is my fav anime fight of all time

Before the fight even starts Netero was hyped to be the only man capable of fighting Meruem, the whole Invasion was to let the two incounter eachother, and to see him freeze like a dog when Meruem walks past him just increased the hype

When they move location they start to talk about how Meruem started to change himself and began to become more human than he previously was

After Netero tempts him by offering to reveal his name as a win condition the fight properly starts and Netero immediately pounds Meruems ass into a huge tomb which becomes the stage for the fight

I fucking love the whole soundtrack for the fight and it’s all fitting for the occasion

Meruem just tries to rush Netero constantly and seeing 2 powerhouses enjoy their fight with smiles on their faces was insane to me when I watched it

When Netero loses his leg they both go ham and Madhouse went even more ham with their insane animation that showed the final rush at eachother

After firing Zero, Netero’s words and terrifying intent completely shook Meruem, seeing this and Netero use his final resort at the end of this fight was legendary to me
