wicca and a lot of “new age” spiritual practices are just stolen, watered down practices from black + indigenous cultures and honestly can have major consequences by messing around w them.... please stay in your lane and research your practices
i saw a white witch try to steal a sámi practice n she completely did it wrong and called it wiccan. for all ik she could have cursed herself or brought bad energy to her. be careful for the love of god
was that white woman trying to summon papa legba to hex her black ex and then mysteriously dying the same day not enough incentive to stay away from practices that arent yours??? like this stuff isnt a game 
also no black or indigenous witch w deep ties to their craft is afraid of some little white pagan who just woke up and decided to be a witch i can promise you that
OH ALSO i am sooo dumb for forgetting south asian ppl specifically hinduism, which has been blatantly stolen and watered down by SOOOOOOO many people its unreal. ive seen a lot of vids on that recently on tiktok !

ppl r still crying in my qrts so im speaking abt popularized, western practices that steal directly from black and indigenous ppl. lots of modern wicca does, so many people unkowingly practice things that arent theirs which can have consequences. its literally not hard to grasp
