Things about Bakugou people ignore or forget often due to reducing him to "the bully" or "the rival" archetype, a thread:
1) He& #39;s REALLY smart, one of the smartest of his class and he& #39;s adept to using those smarts in battle
2) He cries quite a lot when overwhelmed
3) He respects people based mostly on if he perceives them as capable and competent and treats opponents as a threat just as HE wants to be treated (TLDR: He wants fair fights and thus gives fair fights on his side)
4) He has both: Superiority AND inferiority complex at the same time
5) Banking on the last point: He either perceives most people as above or below him (and in Deku& #39;s case as below him when children, and as coming to be above him as teens) that& #39;s why Kirishima being "his equal" is a big deal
6) He has many hidden talents people don& #39;t expect from him, although it fits with his "overachiever" type of personality
7) He still blames himself for what happened to All Might, he never really accepted it as not being his fault
8) He perceives himself as a definite loser a of right now in the story, but doesn& #39;t want to be
9) He& #39;s been restrained against his will on at least 5 different occasions off the top of my head
10) He insist so much on being the best because he has to prove to himself that he can live up to the expectations set onto him ever since he was a 4 yr old
12) He& #39;s not the most pleasant person, but he& #39;s strictly heroic, he would never switch sides
13) He insult people and is irreverent, but he always respects authority, be it other heroes or his teachers, he shows basic respect (something Shouto "fight the police" Todoroki doesn& #39;t do, for example)
14) He& #39;s changed topics of conversation, created distractions and flat out told people they don& #39;t know their own strength to cheer up his friends
15) We& #39;ve seen him have something at least akin to a panic attack and start to hyperventilate when he first lost to Midoriya
16) As a kid he didn& #39;t understand why Midoriya always kept close to him and explicitly wanted to get him to go away, Midoriya didn& #39;t comply
17) After Midoriya helped with the sludge villain, he left him majorly alone, while Midoriya was focused on training with All Might those 10 months
