So to summarize:

11% of Black Cubans have a bank account.
31% of white Cubans traveled abroad.
3% of Black Cubans traveled abroad.
42% of white Cubans have incomes over $3K.
5% of Black Cubans have incomes over $3K.

White Cubans control 98% of private businesses.

Have changes been made? Sure. My father-in-law, he is 64, said back in the day Black Cubans couldn't even walk on the same sidewalk as a white Cuban. But now when my sister-in-law, who has a degree in accounting, goes for a job, they offer her the position of cleaning person.

That "free education" is clutch too. But mostly for all the white children of all the white people who work in government because someone who lives hand to mouth like most Black Cubans do, can't afford the luxury of studying and not working. But yes go on about Cuba y'all.

I'm not going into that game of "at least." There's no "at least" in white pathology. "At least" they starve you out instead of killing you outright? But the cops just shot and killed a Black Cuban man less than a month ago. So, I mean. IDK.

To this day my husband still talks about getting accepted into a dance school and didn't go because he did not have shoes. His basic necessities were not even met. His dad was a single father of three kids. But Cuban socialism, amirite?
