Unexpected results of the global pandemic:
I simply can not find distilled water anywhere, meaning I'm slowly killing my carnivorous plants by using tap water.
I'm going to have to try and distill some water myself.

Update: I collected some water from the local "lake" when we went out to the park today. I figure if there's fish and other wildlife living in it, that water is better than stuff from the tap.
Next I need bigger pots, as a bunch of traps have overlapped each other.

I also got a little pot and two ¥100 plants for my kid, in the hopes she'll leave mine alone now.

Turns out there were TWO Venus fly traps in that pot, which explains why they were so cramped.

My pitcher plant seems to be doing OK though.

Welp. This is the extremely sorry state of my Venus fly traps.

This morning, in an attempt to save them, I uprooted them, removed all the dead leaves, then replanted them.
There were still a few shoots on each plant, and I'm hoping those survive.
I suspect I didn't bury their roots deep enough when I first repotted them, as the root ends were dry.
That, coupled with the day I left them uncovered and the soil dried out, most likely killed them.
I've mounded up the dirt, buried their roots deeper, and have covered them.
