This week a resident of the senior complex Christian Manor Apts was found unexpectedly dead in her car. She had a history of respiratory issues. We inspected her unit and we found toxic black mold everywhere from water damage & leaks neglected by the landlord, Paul Ponte.
Inside the carpet was drenched, the air filter caked on with dirt, everything was DAMP, and black mold was everywhere: in the sinks, bedroom, bathroom, etc. Her family has requested blood work and we're waiting on the toxicology report to confirm our suspicions.
Judge for yourself in the meantime. Toxic housing kills. It kills the elderly. It kills children. It kills the disabled. etc.
This is the landlord Paul Ponte next to his Georgia home. His HUD properties have news stories about children with lead poisoning, ingesting rat poison, being bitten by rats. He's on the board of a non-profit Treasurer's Box that claims to... fight child abuse, call 470-695-4174
These are pics from another unit at Christian Manor where untreated mold has literally sprouted mushrooms. The resident is still alive, but suffers from... chronic respiratory problems.

BREAKING UPDATE: we've learned that several residents in this same building at Christian Manor - building D - have recently died unexpectedly and suddenly in similar circumstances. The mold issue is UNIVERSAL in the building. These same photos could have been taken in any unit.
