I’m disabled and I’m sick and tired of @TfL taxi drivers speaking on my behalf. I’m also sick of them referring to me and people like me as mad or a nut job. Like 70% of my fellow @CamdenCouncil residents I do not have access to a car or van. /1
I want less traffic on our roads, cleaner air and better walking and cycling infrastructure. I fully support the #safestreets changes that are being made and I hope they will grow and become permanent. London deserves better than we’ve been putting up with for so long.
Big thanks to all who supported me in this thread. For info and *not* to placate doubting cabbies, my disability is #invisible and my mobility varies. I’m no ‘cyclist’ but riding a bike helps me manage pain and alleviates the MH issues that accompany chronic illness.

@TfLTPH I don’t have the energy to report the toxic individuals on this thread but they discredit their trade. I don’t use black cabs because 1) I can’t afford to and 2) their reps here are repulsive.
