Did @freop factor in that we aren& #39;t even on the top 20 healthiest countries in the world list & the impact comorbidities have on covid death? Or if our lack of universal health care has any impact on mortality - if any? If so how it translates to deaths in this country?

About these stats? Where do they factor into your paper - because I certainly don& #39;t see it being accounted for. To be clear...I want my kid back at school...but only if it can be done safely.
Everyone agrees that it& #39;s vital to get our kids back to school....but the piece de resistance is that OUR STATES ARE NOT DOING IT SAFELY. I often wish your papers actually offered GUIDANCE on how to do so efficiently and effectively.
Even with guidance - we are seeing states

Completely reject the standards given to them by the cdc or anyone to open schools....

Few last things to note...you say "Nonetheless, some students will need to stay home" and I& #39;m telling you right now...the kids in multi gen homes, without internet, with comorbidities, and no health care coverage ARE going to remain home further widening
the economic/ educational gap you fear is happening now.

think people can afford a 30-850$ test in other states if they can& #39;t afford food? So the choice is ...go to school.. potentially get sick...pay for a test that u can& #39;t afford...?
And speaking of tests...are you attune to the fact that it& #39;s taking weeks to get results back?

This is a convo from a friend who is a psychiatric dr in Rhode island from this week. How can we reopen schools when we don& #39;t even have testing down
I must also point out that the countries u listed as examples; Austria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, & Singapore" ARE AMONGST THE TOP 10 HEALTHIEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD THAT OFFER UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE! It MATTERS
