finallyyy watched animal fushigi zoo kan with sakuma as the guest イエーイ 🌸🌸🌸
sakuma said "kawaii" a whole lot aaaaa お前もかわいいよー♡
first of all : our (my) wish of sakuma in an animal show came trueee!! ⭐⭐⭐

sakuma-bias aside tho : a lot of interesting facts about animals tbh! i enjoyed it 🌸
i'm typing this out of memory & out of my vague understanding of what they said in the show so pls feel free to correct me if i'm wrong!
one of the Qs they asked : "is it a good thing if your dog comes rushing at you once you arrive home?"

sakuma : ⭕ "my dog always does that when i return home!"
neo : ❌

answer is : ❌
if your dog does it, it means your dog might have anxiety 💁🏻‍♀️
i googled it & it says some dogs can have separation anxiety! #TIL
the way sakuma said "uchi no ko" (うちの子) aaa cute
Q : what time should we feed our dog?
💗 : morning, afternoon, and ~4pm everyday?
A : there are no specific times to feed our dogs!

i can't catch what the actual answer was tbh but in essence i think that was what it said 😂
ah i wish sakuma showed (visibly/audibly) his reactions to the ocean life segment tho 😗 all of the creatures shown ARE SO NEW TO ME i need an excited sakuma to hype together aaa
like. i did NOT KNOW an eel's form was TOTALLY different when they were small??? at least for eels like moray eels, electric eels etc. like -- from small, flat, transparent, ethereal-looking things to...scary, big, long-ass vicious-looking creatures???
and apparently there are 'glowing' dolphins ahaha 💕 well not really. they're regular dolphins but some 'glowing' (bioluminescent) planktons somehow stuck on them (?) so they seem to appear like they're glowing!

if you search 'glowing dolphins' you'll see the video 🐬
don't get me started on everyone's reactions to that squirrel (?) stuffing its mouth full with almonds aaaaaaaaaa CUUUUUTEEE

sakuma was like "aaa cuuute aaa wait no you can't fit in more almonds no it won't fittt aaa" 😂
and i just learned that raccoons are called araiguma アライグマ (lit. 'washing bears') in japanese! it comes from observations that raccoons 'wash' their food in/with water!
apparently their scientific name also translates to 'washing bear' 😆😆😆
okay i think that's it for today 🌸 pls excuse the lengthy animal talk & lack of actual flailing over sakuma in this thread 😂 i actually enjoyed this show!

*hoping for more sakuma in animal shows!*
