I've come to the conclusion that I'll never be able to find my ideal mechanical keyboard. Low-travel tactile switches, low-profile keycaps, 14.5 * 6u layout.

Update: have a v1 (basically a prototype) built. Took what I learned and designed v2 (and maybe even v3). Introducing Night Shift and Day Shift:

Here’s a photo of v1. Custom designed some keycaps which I ordered from @wasdkeyboards, Kaihl Speed switches (copper, spent hours lubing them, they feel/sound amazing), DZ60 PCB, low profile @KBDfans case, and some recycled packaging foam for sound isolation.
