People are responding the same way about masking as they did about us losing our health insurance- rabid to defend tyranny, even after they get what they wanted, completely callous about those who suffered/lost, and obsessed with trying to make us agree with them.

Psych disorder
2) I remember during first wave of ACA, when Obama was mocking our fears about losing our employer based health insurance. My family had ALREADY lost ours! So he was lying from the start. The company didn't have the "grandfather clause". So ACA went into effect immediately...
3) People I thought were friends challenged my story, as if I was confused (or LYING?!!? Watch yourself there, "friend"). So, I had to actually provide details to prove it. Later, when we were DENIED Obamacare OR a subsidy (after Obama said "no one" could be denied), they again
4) didn't believe me. Oh no, no one can be denied, they said. I then provided the details and goobly-gook rejection language given to me. I showed them the article from USA Today that explained the "family glitch". If an employer offered an affordable (percentage to paycheck)
4) single plan, but an outrageous (cost of a mortgage payment!) family plan, the government went off of the single plan... EVEN IF the citizen had been enrolled in a family plan. So, we were thrown off our insurance, denied Obamacare, denied a subsidy, and there was nothing
5) affordable. We simply could not do it. Husband joined the VA then, so at least he'd be covered. The rest of us had no health insurance for the first time in our lives. I was teaching from my home studio at that time, self-employed, homeschooling the kids, not making much $.
6) The reaction from "friends", was that at least others finally got to have insurance. They also said now I know how it feels to be poor.
I already knew that feeling. I was born into very humble conditions. I was the first to go to college. But whatever, no one's business.
7) Some thought I should just go get a job then. I already had a job. I was doing what I had worked hard to do. If not for the government taking from us, to give to others, we'd not be in trouble.
So, as many of you have heard this story often, will skip thru it-
8) husband got delayed care at VA, has permanent nerve damage. So, yes, we were harmed by Obamacare throwing us off our insurance & being forced to do something else, that led to permanent health injury.
Response from the leftists?
Too bad,
oh well,
still rabid about ACA.
9) I can see having a disagreement, but it's unfathomable to continue to gloat, sneer, and act rabidly obsessively defensive/hostile in loyalty toward a government program, policy, or mandate... even when you see a friend hurting from it.
Mental disorder.
No empathy.
Cult like.
10) At the very least, a humble sincere attitude... perhaps, "I still overall want a universal health care program, but I didn't expect the implementation of it to hurt people, and cause my friends to suffer."

Nope

Acted angry that I had a sympathetic story that hurt their cult
11) And, finally to my point now, for those who read to the end of this...

I see this same behavior with every issue, this time it's mandatory masking.
They have WON. Mandatory masking in most places.
Yet that's not enough.
They want those of us who are "losers" to kneel.
12) The callous indifference to anyone who lost health insurance... who had been lied to again and again... and when it became clear that people WERE receiving benefits who had been sworn up and down wouldn't... and people WERE denied care...
Well, rabid leftists still choose gov
13) This is the same.
They chose government over us.
It doesn't matter how much they have lied to us, or how must they've hurt us. It doesn't matter if masking causes health problems, anxiety, or any other harm- they will obsessively hammer away at masking, even though they WON
14) Unstable people.
No respect for others.
No empathy for others.
And when they triumph over the rights of others, and hear of their suffering, they not only gloat-sneer-insult... but they will never stop until we kneel.

I will never mask.
I will never kneel.
