On a daily basis I look up “covid stats” and check how each state is doing in our country, and I strictly go on that alone for my information. I don’t go off of the media, just the numbers. There are literally 40 states in our country that are straight bleeding out....
From this pandemic, yet so much of it has become politics??? And I don’t understand...
And when I say “bleeding out” I mean nearly a thousand people DAILY have confirmed cases with the disease. If anyone has any brain at all you’d realize what that actually means...

That means 140k deaths can turn into 200k deaths by August EASILY, and it also means 1% death rate can easily go up to nearly 10% when hospitals reach capacity...that also is worse news than that... it means high risk people may just die without the virus because...
Because hospitals have reached capacity and can’t care for anyone else... so you can add a good # more of deaths that will happen because of the virus...
I also want to pause and reflect and kind of come to the conclusion that there isn’t exactly an easy solution, and I really do understand the rhetoric behind being afraid of the lockdowns and restrictions hurting the economy... obviously it’s something needing to be discussed...
But really at this point from looking at the amount of states as I said that, by the numbers, looks like you’d need a hazmat suit just to walk around in, another lockdown kinda seems imminent... but for whatever reason we need to talk about schools opening up... nuts...
And it’s like here’s my problem with it... it’s the way it’s being said... by professionals, who are supposed to be the highest level of professional... they aren’t saying “we hope to get to where schools can open” they are saying “you have to open schools”
I suffer from mental illness. I’m appalled that the comeback is to jump to “what about all the people suffering with depression from this pandemic?”
my depression came mostly from feeling oppressed and how I had barely any shot to do what I love (art/music) for a living

Maybe some other stuff but I really never felt free since I’ve been an adult. I don’t like the idea of stepping over people and competing with people just to have a place to sleep at night, which basically what capatalism is.
I’m writing this thread to explain that it’s clear
