Of all the bad happenings occuring nowadays around the world, there are still so many things we should be thankful for.
)Of all the bad happenings occuring nowadays around the world, there are still so many things we should be thankful for.
Waking up every morning healthy, with food on your plate, and living with your family in this time of crisis is a blessing, and I was one of the lucky few who was given this great gift.
I want to thank our Almighty Father, for blessing me another year of life, for all the trials I faced in the past that have made me a better person today. My family, who made efforts to give me a simple and intimate celebration at home.
I would also like to thank all my friends, who remembered my special day today. May you still join me as I walk through in this life.
This celebration may be so much different than the celebrations I am used to, but it made me appreciate life more without the glitz and glamour.
I would also like to extend this celebration to those people who have won the battle and defeated the virus.
And I pray that may our healthcare workers, and researchers find the cure to eradicate the virus with the hopes that soon we will be free of this crisis.
And I also pray that amidst this pandemic we face, may we find the light to move forward with our lives and comeback stronger.
