Messi this season has had an incredible season, scoring 23 and getting 21 assists in only 32 games. For context, Thierry Henry in what is widely considered the best individual prem season ever got 24 goals and 20 assists in 37 games. Messi is performing at an elite level.

This is important because despite Messi's record breaking performances, Barcelona still lost La Liga by a decent margin, were knocked out of the copa del rey and are not necessarily going to continue in the Champions League.

It is clear the Barcelona are not currently good enough for Messi, and he is clearly becoming frustrated, his body language and attitude on the pitch has become bad and in interviews he is very critical of the club. its looking like Messi will leave, the question is where to?

City is the perfect destination for Messi. We have the money to pay for him, the manager, a team that can compete for every competition, even his best friend in Sergio Aguero.

Messi is versatile, able to play out wide or centrally, which suits our current system since Pep likes to move around our attacking options, for example he's played sterling up front or in a false nine a few times. Messi would fit in perfectly to our team and tactics.

Not only is Messi perfect for City, but City is also perfect for Messi. Its a win-win, and so Messi should sign with City this summer.
