My ideal Spurs transfer window [A thread]
OUTGOING PLAYERS
Both Vertoghen and Vorm has signed temporary contract extensions untill the new end of the Premier Leagu season. It seems highly unlikely at this point that either of the duo will sign new deals and as such they will become free agents.
Despite Sissoko’s turn around in a Spurs shirt last season, the 30 year is coming to twilight years of career. While he’s still a excellent athlete, his technical ability leaves much to be desired. A ~£10m fee would be satisfactory for a sale.
Arriving 7 years ago from Roma, Lamela’s time at Spurs have been tarnished by numerous injuries. The last remaining signing of the 7 bought from the Bale money, his relecutance to pass the ball leaves many frustrated and his injury record doesn’t help his case. Sell for ~£15m
The seemingly out of favour defender, Juan Foyth, looks to be on his way out with him not having played since the 2-2 draw to Norwich, where he practically gifted a goal. I don’t think we’ll get more than ~£5m+2m in add-ons and some sort of sell on clause from him.
Currently on loan at Southampton, KWP is another that is likely to leave this upcoming transfer window. His transition from academy to first team at Spurs was bookmarked by his lack of consistent game time leading to stagnation. A permanent deal would suit both clubs. ~£15m sale
Another Spurs fullback on loan at different club is Danny Rose. His end at Spurs I’d say is a much a decline of ability as it was his tendency to run his mouth. Should Newcastle look to make the deal permanent then a £8m fee would be acceptable.
At 18 years of age, a priority for Irish youngster, Troy Parrot, is consitent game time, which he seems unlikely to get at Spurs right now. A loan to L1 or Championship club would suit him, but any loan fee would probably be <£1m.
Another Spurs youngester in search of minutes is Oliver Skipp. I do think if the club fail to qualify for the Europa league, meaning he likely wouldn’t sufficient amount of game time, then Skipp should go on loan to high level Championship team or a PL team. ~£3m loan fee
INCOMING PLAYERS.

Revenue generated from players sales gives us a transfer budget of ~£51m and Jose Mourinho has managed to sweet talk Levy into giving him another £25m to spend.
Adrssing our key areas first, Norwich’s right-back Max Aarons would be good fit for Spurs and would count as a homegrown players. While I’ve some seen not rate him, Aarons is truly a talent and is a gem from a very poor Norwich. A fee of £15m seems fair.
To add even more depth at right-back while not breaking the bank at all. I would sign Nathan Fergusson, currently a free-agent. The 19 year is another promising youngster and a low risk signing. No transfer fee required and would provide back-up to Aurier and Aarons.
Denis Zakaria from Gladbach is a standout player and would add the defensive steel our midfield desperately needs, allowing us to get the best out of Ndombele, Lo Celso and Dele. He won’t come cheap and I’d say £35m plus £5m in add-ons (to be paid later) is an agreeable price.
A DM would free up our more attack minded players to create, but to add even depth Eze from QPR would be ideal. He would be a serviceable replacement to Lamela and could fill in for Dele when needed and his own manager branded him as a ‘top 6 premier league player.’ Sign for ~£9m
Spurs have also been heavily linked to sign a new CB, specifically Son’s international teammate, Kim Min-Jae. He would be able to step into our back 4 if Sanchez or Alderwierd is unavailable and would grow the clubs brand identity in Asia even further. £11m fee.
A backup is definitely need for Kane, enter Dyzuba. The 31 year-old will add experience to what has been a youthful transfer window so far. At 1.96cm he’s very tall and would be should suited to holding up the ball, when Kane takes his usual 1 month injury break. Sign for £10m
If all these transfers were to go through I’d anticipate we’d line up like this. Easily adaptable to a 4-4-3 with Ndombele for Dele if needed.

Bench: Gazzniga, Min-Jae, Tanganga, Sessegnon, Winks, Ndombele, Eze, Lucas, Dyzuba
Let me know if anything seems unrealistic, I really just guessed the transfers fees. Hope they aren’t very off. Let me know your thoughts and would you do differently. Retweets and likes are appreciated
